Zeventien dagen, zo lang zat Reshma vast onder de brokstukken van de in april ingestorte Rana Plaza fabriek in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Tien mei werd ze als laatst overlevende bevrijd. Reshma had weten te overleven door gedroogd voedsel te eten dat ze had gevonden. Gisteren werd ze uit het ziekenhuis ontslagen. Ze vertelde „iedereen dankbaar te zijn” en „uit te kijken naar haar nieuwe baan in een luxueus hotel”. AP
