An undated handout image released by Al-Andalus, the media branch of Al-Qaeda in the Magreb (AQMI) to the Agence Nouakchott Informations (ANI) on December 9, 2011 shows three European hostages being held by AQMI at an undisclosed loaction. The three Europeans, a Swede, a Dutchman and a man with dual British-South African nationality were snatched from a restaurant on Timbuktu's central square on November 25.
