Milieulobby voert actie rond VN-top

A combination of six pictures taken on November 30, 2009 and released on December 3, 2009 by Greenpeace shows (from top) US president Barack Obama, French president Nicolas Sarzoky, German chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero appearing on advertisements reading "I'm Sorry, we could have stopped catastrophic climate change ... we didn't". The posters with heads of state have been placed all over Copenhagen International Airport by the global coalition, and Greenpeace calling on world leaders to secure a fair, ambitious and binding deal at the Copenhagen Climate Summit. Thousands of activists are set to converge on Copenhagen for the December 7-18 world climate conference, using digital technology, people pressure and the Little Mermaid to make their opinions heard.
