Clint Eastwood opent voor Romney en maakt ruzie met een stoel

Hollywoodster Clint Eastwood opende de Republikeinse conventie voor presidentskandidaat Mitt Romney. Dat deed hij met een opmerkelijke dialoog met een niet-aanwezige Barack Obama op een lege stoel.
Volgens MSNBC-presentatrice Rachel Maddow was dit het raarste wat zij ooit gezien had op een politieke conventie (video). Eastwood (82) maakte zelfs ruzie met de stoel waarop de huidige president zou zitten. De aanwezige Republikeinen lachten echter wel hard om de grappen van Eastwood en gaven hem een staande ovatie.
