This special edition of the weekly NRC Handelsblad podcast is on Fitna, the controversial anti-Koran film made by Dutch politician Geert Wilders. In the debate, presented by NRC web editor Emilie van Outeren, three journalists give their perspective on the Netherlands in general and Geert Wilders in particular.

British editor Robin Pascoe (formerly BBC and Reuters, now DutchNews.nl), German correspondent Gerald Traufetter (Der Spiegel) and the editor of NRC's Arts and Culture desk, Raymond van den Boogaard, talk about the content of the movie and it's possible effects on politics and the Dutch attitude towards Islam and ethnic minorities. Will the film boost or damage Wilders' electoral appeal? And why is it that this extremist politician finds fertile grounds in what used to be the most tolerant nation in Europe.
